Everyone, at some point in their life, attempts a massive overhaul of their health. We so desperately want to see results that we change everything all at once, unknowingly setting ourselves up for failure.
We get so overwhelmed that we give up. We quit. We feel destined to a life of being overweight and exhausted.
I get it. I've been there. And trust me, that doesn't have to be the case.
I was so desperate to fit the "perfect body mold" that I went against every grain of my being and jumped into a fad diet years ago only to lose my health. I was finally skinny. Sexy. All the things. BUT I WAS NOT HEALTHY.
I was exhausted. My hormones had tanked. I was losing hair by the handful.
And the male bloggers I was following kept telling me I was "doing it wrong."
Enough was enough.
I went back to my graduate school books and started to dig into the research to determine why women were reacting differently to strict keto diets and intermittent fasting than their male counterparts.
Through simple, sustainable steps, I regained my health and my vibrancy. I'm now healthier in my forties than I ever was in my twenties.
And I'm here to walk with you in this journey.
